Entries Menu

New entries sheet

Creates a new Entries sheet with default policy.

Prompts for the event name e.g. entering Open Pairs would create a sheet named Open Pairs Entries.

If you leave a gap in the list of entries Chartroom will treat them as separate events; useful if you want a women's and men's event on the same sheet.

Features automatic serial numbering in Column A.

New entries sheet (by player)

Creates a special entries sheet allowing team members to be managed separately, e.g. for drawn events where the teams are formed randomly.

Initialise pool play

Initialises pool play from entries in accordance with the Entries sheet's pool policy.

In the first instance a new sheet will be created whose name is derived from the name of the Entries sheet. If run again (with the same Entries sheet name) it will append pools to the bottom of the pool play sheet.

If entries are separated by a blank row Chartroom treats each block of entries as a separate event.

For very large fields consider initialising in batches.

Initialise lives play

Initialises lives play from entries in accordance with the Entries sheet's lives policy.

In the first instance a new sheet will be created whose name is derived from the name of the Entries sheet. If run again (with the same Entries sheet name) it will append sections to the bottom of the lives play sheet.

If entries are separated by a blank row Chartroom treats each block of entries as a separate event.

You may want to initialise the entries twice to run a 2-life event commonly known as a butterfly draw.

Get random entries

Populate the Entries sheet with as many entries as required for testing purposes.

Enter the number of entries and an optional disciple code s, p, t or f, e.g. 135t to get 135 triples teams.

This will overwrite all existing entries on the sheet.
